Miller's Marauders Monster Mash

Miller Maurader's Monster Mash is an annual "dirty century" that takes place on the mountain bike trails at Miller's Meadow in Wichita, Kansas. The ride is 20 laps long, or 100 miles. It is not a race, and no time or placing information is kept. Riders can ride solo or as part of a team. Teams can be one, two, three, four, or five riders.

Riders are asked to bring a piece of bike swag for a blanket swap. Each swag is thrown on a blanket and after the teams complete the ride, they can choose a piece from the blanket. There is no cost for this ride. It is unsanctioned and unsponsored. It is a show-and-go. All riders accept responsibility for themselves and their ride.

Miller's Meadow was built and is maintained by the Kansas Singletrack Society.

Big Ring Fondo

The Big Ring Hondo is a 100-mile gravel fondo going through the Flint Hills starting out of Wichita Kansas area. There will be cue sheets and a GPS route for course guidance. The course will flow east of Wichita and cover some very beautiful scenery and challenging roads. Be sure to run your Flint Hills set up as there are some very rugged road sections on the course. There will be a town midway through the ride for you to refuel and another oasis location on the return. There will also be shorter options that still cover most of the beautiful sights. Even the regular Wichita gravel riders will be in for a surprise as you will be on roads that you didn't even know existed.

There will have three course length options along with a FREE 4 mile kids fun ride. The first is 119 miles, and if that's too much then check out the intermediate 77 mile, and short 29 mile option on the same roads.

This will be a self-supported event with two neutral support locations provided and supported by Bicycle X-Change. The weather this time of the year is fantastic and the course is fully gravel covered with only a few potential very short muddy sections should it rain. I believe that the entire course would be rideable in any conditions. More info will be posted as the event draws nearer. Stay tuned!
