Q: Does SLIME tire sealant really work?
A: Yes! Slime (and Specialized Airlock) sealants are the best sealants on the market right now. Remember that slime is a liquid, and as such needs to have pressure behind it in order to seal up a hole. After getting a thorn (or other sharp object) in your tire, make sure you remove it so that the slime is not disturbed by the object working itself in deeper. You then need to have pressure in the tire before taking it for a ride. The slime needs centrifugal force to make it work correctly. If this does not seal the hole, bring the wheel in or give us a call and we can help.
