Philosophy in Repairs
Quality Service is more than just a goal. For us it is an obsession. We desire to fix your bicycle right, and do it in a timely manner, at a fair price. If you need to get your bike fixed, just bring it on in during store hours and we will get to work on it as quickly as we can. We may even be able to repair it right there on the spot! Feel free to call ahead to see how busy we are.
Continental Cyclery provides complete bike repairs on most brands and models*.
We love answering questions about your bike, and try our hardest to give accurate, honest answers. This is one reason we have chosen a customer-viewable shop area. Feel free to ask us questions while we work on your bike!
Store Rates
We
use flat rate repair pricing with the exception of those jobs (wheel trueing,
etc.) that vary considerably in time to complete. Our prices are based
off of a $50 dollar per hour labor rate. Here are some of our most
common job pricings:

Standard Tuneup
One
question every customer should ask is "What does a tuneup include?"
Our standard tuneup for $65 labor includes all of the following:

A tuneup will not include repacking bearings. If you need all your bearings repacked, then we would recommend a Standard Overhaul. This includes the Standard Tuneup, Ultrasonic Drivetrain Cleaning, and Hand Wash as well as repacking the Hubs, Headset, and Bottom Bracket. Depending on the type of bicycle, the labor charge for this around $140.
Upgrades
Continental Cyclery carries a vast array of parts and accessories that can be installed on your bicycle. We can perform virtually any component upgrade, and if we don't happen to have the part you need we can usually get it within one week. We have access to over 100,000 different parts and accessories to enhance your riding experience.

Service, assembly, and installations are a very important part of our business. Our goal is to have the best service department around with only satisfied customers. Period.
*Unfortunately a large number of bicycles that are sold through the discount and department stores are virtually unfixable. Many are designed as disposable bikes and will never function like a quality bicycle. Therefore, we reserve the right to refuse service on any bicycle that we believe cannot be made safe enough to ride.
